EUDEC 2024

During the EUDEC 2024 in Soest (NL) we gathered with 200 people from 25 countries. Not only from Europe but also from distant countries such as SriLanka, Hawaii, USA and India.
People who wanted to meet each other to share their ideas, experiences and inspiration around Democratic Education. Not only adults but also students found their way.
There were speakers, well-known and unknown, and there was a wide range of options in the 'Open Space' program.

Now is the time, to learn with and from each other how to walk a path together and co-create the future. Also the present moment is an opportunity to shape the future.

Children and young people have the same general human rights as adults and also specific rights that recognize their special needs. Children are neither the property of their parents nor are they helpless objects of charity. They are human beings and are the subject of their own rights.
